Brie decided in early 2025 that she was done waiting for a band to ask her to sing with them and just started her own! One post to the local forum and here we are.
While this is her first time in a band, she’s no stranger to the stage having a hobby in musical theater and never passing up a karaoke stage. She’s in this for the fun of it and so far she’s having a blast.
Brie lives in Barnet, VT with her husband, 1 kiddo still home and 1 off at college. She loves being surrounded by nature and welcomes every chance to be outside - especially if there is wildlife to observe.
Multi-String Axe Enthusiast (Guitar and Vocals)
Day Job: Physicist.
Night Job: Testing the structural integrity of local stages.
Philosophy: If the guitar has fewer than seven strings, is it even a guitar, or just a sophisticated ukelele?
Russ utilizes his background in physics to ensure the band's sound is heavy enough to collapse into a singularity.
Scientific Goal: Finding a chord so complex it finally explains Dark Matter.

Drums
Nate's a New Hampshire native who grew up in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom (NEK). He picked up the drums at nine and was hooked right away. Before taking a break from music, he played in local bands like The Manix, Catamaran, and Tasty Shades Of Orange, plus some non-local groups, including Josh Hunstberry and Sidrak & Bokkus, all leading up to The Atlantic Effect. Now, he's getting back into his passion, playing with this group and other musicians around the NEK.
When he's not behind the kit, Nate works in professional pet care, takes walks in the woods with his dogs, explores new mountains, and just enjoys everything Vermont has to offer.
